This app is crap. Does not do what it advertises. I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Are use this app daily to translate notes from my classes and work meetings. Its a timesaver! Works perfectly.

Works great. All it needs is some meter or progress bar for time/amt.

I gave this app three stars because Im a little confused by it. Try to contact no one, (nuance, or end dragon,parentheses, see. Typos reveal limits of the app. Id like to know if this works better using a specific Mike, thats microphone.

I bought this app when I broke my elbow of my dominant hand last spring. Im a piano teacher, so I needed it especially to transcribe my teaching instructions and also understand a myriad of music terminology in English and Italian. The first few days were pretty rough, and some of the learning curve was on me, but it learned remarkably quickly and after a week I was pretty pleased with how well it was recognizing my speech. After two weeks, it was fantastic! I should add: Siri rarely translates my voice correctly, no matter how well I enunciate (its a running joke in my family--its really that bad) and I was able to speak normally (without over-enunciation or stilted pauses) with this app. Since I couldnt use my arm for a very long 6 weeks, this app was well-used and well worth it!

Use this instead of the microphone in the text app. Fewer mistakes.

Id love it if this app was able to transcribe from a video interview I made thats 25 minutes long. Alas, it does not. It gives me a "cannot sync to cloud" error. I also have no clue how long it really can record for, or whether its limited by something like local RAM or who knows what. If I did Id be able to record in, say, 10 minute chunks or something and stitch them together. Until this information is made available in the description section or the problem is fixed Im leaving my review at 3 stars. I spent $10 on this and I basically wont even be using it, or Ill have to set aside time and energy to experiment and figure out how long it will record for. Blegh. UPDATE: So Ive been experimenting with it and I got lucky one time and it recorded/processed ~5 minutes of my YouTube video. 3 other attempts to get to 5 minutes failed at the "Processing" stage. Im getting incredibly frustrated now. Seems like Ill have to baby it and process it every 3 minutes or so to be safe. UGHHH.

Only records 5 seconds and then stops

App only worked on wireless NOT with LTE on iPhone 7 plus iOS 10.2. When on LTE got error message cannot detect network connectivity. Please fix ASAP, thanks!!! Correctly translated voice spoken into written Vietnamese words, phases, sentences, etc... amazing

Cant say its better than Siri; however, I have spoken several sentences and Active Voice does a good job transcribing, barring a few errors. Will continue to use it to see, as another reviewer mentioned, it actually improves with use.

Amazing app and very useful for whom non-speaking another language.

Great app! Dictation is very accurate and the option to save to other apps is a big plus.

I am very pleased with it.
